What is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is an evidenced-based approach that recognises that we are all unique and aims to maximise health and well-being through the introduction of a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan. It aims to work with the person holistically addressing any underlying imbalances that may be impacting their health and well-being, rather than just managing symptoms.

Nutritional Therapy involves taking a comprehensive health history, analysis of dietary and lifestyle and where appropriate functional laboratory testing.

Nutritional Therapy is not recommended as a replacement for medical advice but intended to complement conventional healthcare. Nutritional Therapists often work alongside other healthcare professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Clients with health conditions or symptoms of concern (red flags) may be referred to their GP for medical checks.

Everyone’s health goals are different and to achieve the results you want may take time. I offer a range of packages to support your wellness journey. We will start by raising awareness of what is going on for you, as without awareness, change is not possible.
