Nutrition is still the new kid on the science block compared to the classical natural sciences and fascinating research that challenges our current thinking is emerging on an almost daily basis. For many, this can be overwhelming, confusing and misleading. My role is to translate the latest developments into effective and manageable strategies, tailored to your individual needs and circumstances. Good nutrition does not need to be complicated or exclusive, something that only those with money, fame, and more time on their hands can achieve. 

I will work with you to explain how the different body systems work and interact with one another, and the potential reasons why underlying nutritional imbalances may contribute to your symptoms. 

Food is so much more than calories and macros. The food we eat is information that speaks to our DNA. You may have come across the quote ‘Nature loads the gun, the environment pulls the trigger’. In other words, we cannot change our genes but we can support how they are expressed by our diet, nutrition and lifestyle. 

And of course, nothing in the body works in isolation, so it is important to take a holistic approach. I will:

  • Reveal imbalances in your body and metabolic processes that can be corrected with diet and lifestyle modifications 
  • Create a manageable plan, based on the latest research, that is tailored to your individual needs and circumstances
  • Provide on-going support, inspiration and guidance to move you towards your health goals
  • Raise awareness and knowledge of how the body works so you will recognise signs and symptoms to take effective action in time
